OK, Bag Monster is a moronic name, but Monster has become a catch-all phrase for "Hey, this will help you do something" This section will help you find the bags you're looking for (like you're really looking for them). Leaving everything blank will retrieve a list of all bags, however that may cause the page to load slowly.

Running

Received From: Darren Smart
Print or Image Color: Black, Red
Background / Bag Color: White
I'm really not even sure this is a barf bag, but it's from the movie Running starring Michael Douglas and Susan Anspach. It was distributed by Video Classics. If you know anything about this bag (or movie) please let me know.

Satellite Gore

Approximate Vintage: 1999
Print or Image Color: Green
Background / Bag Color: White
I can't quite figure out what this bag is all about. It was sent to me anonymously, so I don't know how to find out more information about it. The note that came with the bag says that the bags were distributed to the first 100 people at an art show in Manhattan. The exhibit was R. Land at Maxfish.

I don't know if it's a real movie or not. It may just be the artwork for a fictional movie. Who can tell? The bag came filled with rubber vomit, a very nice touch. I find the bag to be one of the more interesting artifacts in this museum.

Also, be sure to check out the bottom of the bag. They spared no expense in making this artistic.

Satellite Gore

Approximate Vintage: 1999
Received From: Les Houpt
Print or Image Color: Green
Background / Bag Color: White
Identical to the other English Satellite Gore bag except there's nothing on the bottom.

Satellite Gore

Approximate Vintage: 1999
Received From: Shonali Bhowmik
Print or Image Color: Green
Background / Bag Color: White
This is the Spanish version of Satellite Gore. It's a stunning departure from the industry standard of placing several languages on a single bag.

Scary Devil Girl 2

Approximate Vintage: 2019
Received From: Kraig D Kristin
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Ostensibly a ripoff of the 70s Mark of the Devil bag, this one is for the movie Scary Devil Girl 2. It says:

This VOMIT BAG and the PRICE of one ADMISSION will enable YOU to SEE ...
"THE DEVIL MADE ME SPEW IT"
SCARY DEVIL GIRL 2: INNER DEMONS
TM 2019 LOOT CRATE, LOOT FREIGHT AND LOGOS ARE THE REGISTERED TRADEMARKS OF LOOT CRATE, INC. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED

The bottom says

Scary Movie 2

Approximate Vintage: 2001
Received From: Kathleen Sabatini
Print or Image Color: Red and Black
Background / Bag Color: White
According to Kathleen, this bag is "...from the hit comedy, SCARY MOVIE 2, starring Shawn Waynas, Marlon Wayans, Anna Faris, Chris Elliot, Tim Curry, Tori Spelling and directed by Keenan Ivory Wayans. This official promo bag was available only in the UK." I'm not quite sure terms and conditions are on site, but it's kind of cool to tout an on-line tabloid right on the bag.

Soul Plane Nashawn Wade Airlines (NWA)

Approximate Vintage: 2004
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Purple
This bag was a prop used by Snoop Dog in the movie Soul Plane with Kevin Hart. It comes with a certificate of authenticity (shown). It actually looks like a pretty standard barf bag althbough the flight attendant is fairly curvy. It even has French, German and Spanish on it.

Purchased on eBay for $8.50

Spike & Mike's Barf Bag

Approximate Vintage: 1993
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: White
From Spike & Mike's Extra Sick and Twisted Festival of Animation, which travels across the U.S. This one cost me $11.95 since they wouldn't give me one unless I bought a (Godzilla vs. Bambi) T-shirt.

Spike & Mike's Barf Bag

Approximate Vintage: 1999
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Spike and Mike are at it again. The worst part is looking around the theatre at the losers who come to this festival and thinking "This is my demographic group."

Note the chicken head in the mouth

Spike & Mike's Barf Bag

Approximate Vintage: 2000
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Same as the 2000 model except that their web site was acquired by ifilm.com!

Spike & Mike's Lunch Bag

Approximate Vintage: 1994
Received From: Steven J Sattler
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: White
From Spike & Mike's Sick and Twisted Festival of Animation. This one appears to be from 1994 and has a phone number for recorded information. I have no idea what sort of recorded info about this bag, but I encourage you to call the number.

The Night The Screaming Stopped

Received From: David Harris
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Red and White
I looked at the Internet Movie Database and can only find a reference to a movie called "The Day The Screaming Stopped", so this bag is a bit of a mystery to me. Perhaps you, fine reader can illuminate?

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Received From: Scott Cunningham
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: White
This is a rare find I purchased on eBay. It seems that in the mid-90s, a movie theater in Lodi, OH printed up special bags for several horror flicks under the umbrella name of Midnight Cinema

If you can believe the bags themselves, they are limited runs of 25 or 50.

This particular bag seems to be modeled after the Mark of the Devil bags and saya

Tomb of the Blind Dead

Received From: J. Hawkins
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
In an ironic twist, "Tomb of the Blind Dead" co-opts a Mark of the Devil bag and promotes itself by putting a sticker of its movie's logo over the existing one. Tres sleazy. (I'm not really sure why this is ironic) Another eBay purchase. By the way, I'm not sure how this would be scarier than the Tomb of the Sighted Dead. An anonymous internet tipster says, ""Tomb of the Blind Dead" was the USA title for a Spanish production: "La Noche del terror ciego". These were both released around 1970/ 1971 by Hallmark Releasing. I suspect that's why the recycled bag from 'Mark' for 'Tomb' (same releasing outfit). Further, if you're really interested you can get copies of either of these stinkers from an outfit called 'Anchor Bay Entertainment'."

Traces of Death

Received From: Mike Baronas
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Yet another horror flick goes barf bag. Same color scheme as all the others. For whatever reason, the bottom says Snowhite. Another eBay purchase.
