I had originally listed this as one of the Air Sickness Bags, but Thomas Payne pointed out that, "The Hover Speed bag should be in the sea-sickness section, not air. They operate hover-craft services from Dover to Calais (Uk to France), and believe me, a lot of those bags get used, especially when the sea is rough! Its so bumpy you cant drink a cup of tea without spilling it down yourself!

Hover Craft guru Lamar Bordelon says, "The Hovercraft is the funny looking thing that floats on a cushion of air just above the surface of either land or water. The ones carrying people and cars between England and Europe have two large motor-driven fans which blow the air under the craft, and another two fans which propel it along. There is a huge neoprene skirt around the outer edges of the craft to hold the air cushion in as the craft lifts and floats above the surface. (As you might imagine, it needs fairly smooth surfaces to travel over, which is why it didn't get much acceptance as a mode of transportation by the military).
