OK, Bag Monster is a moronic name, but Monster has become a catch-all phrase for "Hey, this will help you do something" This section will help you find the bags you're looking for (like you're really looking for them). Leaving everything blank will retrieve a list of all bags, however that may cause the page to load slowly.

Bouraq Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2000
Received From: Paul Mundy
Print or Image Color: White and Green
Background / Bag Color: White and Green
Much like its predecessor, except that it's made of translucent plastic. Disgustingly, the twist tie is affixed INSIDE THE BAG. Therefore, if you use the bag for its intended purpose, you have to stick your hand in the bag to retrieve the twist tie.

Bouraq Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2001
Received From: Thomas Blickle
Print or Image Color: White and Green
Background / Bag Color: White and Green
Identical to the 2000 version except they went back to paper instead of plastic.

Bouraq Airlines

Received From: Janusz Tichoniuk
Print or Image Color: White and Green
Background / Bag Color: White and Green
Identical to the 2000 version except the lines in the basketball are inconsistent. The bottom of the B seems to be see-thru, as the contour line continues. The line at the top is obscured by the B.

Bourgas Airport

Approximate Vintage: 2004
Received From: Jan-Alexander Lück
Print or Image Color: Navy, Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Since the bag is released by Bourgas Airport in Bulgaria, you'd assume that it is used in ground transportation, but the gusset says it's for Air Sickness, so who knows? The bag does contain the words "Bourgas Airport" exactly 600 times. Plus, the bag is a regular member of ACI Europe -- like it attends meetings or something.

BRA

Received From: Matthias Koch
Print or Image Color: Blue, Yellow
Background / Bag Color: White
No, it's not a Bra, it's a Barf Bag. Do NOT be tempted to use this bag in order to enhance your bustline.

Braathens

Approximate Vintage: 2000
Received From: Martin Powley
Print or Image Color: White, Red, Silver
Background / Bag Color: Purple
Very similar to predecessors, however a fastidious bag inspector will note that the vertical line between the Norwegian instructions and the English instructions are gone. Why??? This new bag is also smaller than the prior version, purple instead of blue, and will stand up on the floor when full.

Braathens (no thumb tab)

Approximate Vintage: 1998
Received From: Martin Powley
Print or Image Color: White, Red, Black
Background / Bag Color: Royal Blue
Exactly like the thumb tab version except, you guessed it, no thumb tab. Just look at the scans and see!

Braathens (thumb tab)

Approximate Vintage: 1998
Received From: Ken Costilow
Print or Image Color: White, Red, Black
Background / Bag Color: Royal Blue
Very bold striking and soft. The instructions tell you to put in on the floor after use. I've often wondered, Hmmm... Where do I put this now?

Braathens SAFE

Approximate Vintage: 1988
Received From: Jo Boyd
Print or Image Color: Blue and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Excellent older Norwegian bag with hallmark Tic-Tac-Toe game on reverse side. I like the fact that the instructions are punctuated with an exclamation mark.

Braathens SAFE

Approximate Vintage: 1995
Received From: Jo Boyd
Print or Image Color: Blue and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
This is the Reise-sjakk with no number on the bottom of the X & O game. I wonder why they left it off.

Braathens SAFE

Approximate Vintage: 1995
Received From: Ben Guttery
Print or Image Color: Blue and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
This is the Braathens SAFE 248 bag.

Braathens SAFE

Received From: Christoph Vogel
Print or Image Color: Blue and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
This is the Braathens SAFE 226 bag. I think this is how you know you're an obsessive collector. You completely ignore the conspicuously attention grabbing game in favor of meticulously tracking the Duni bag number.

Braathens SAFE

Received From: Ralph Riffenburgh
Print or Image Color: Blue and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
This is the Braathens SAFE 933 bag. I think this is how you know you're an obsessive collector. You completely ignore the conspicuously attention grabbing game in favor of meticulously tracking the Stenqvist bag number.

Brainwash

Approximate Vintage: 2013
Received From: Tanner Shay
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
The 19th Annual Brainwash Drive-In/Bike-In/Walk-In Movie Festival for 2013 features The Incendiary Adventures of a Scientist Gone Mad FREE Barf Bag. The first 100 patrons receive as free Barf Bag just for showing up!

Although I was not in Oakland for this opening, I was able to score a bag in exchange for an old Mark of the Devil Bag. The Brainwash bag is great. It has a big brain on it with the following text

THE INCENDIARY ADVENTURES OF A SCIENTIST GONE MAD!
WARNING!!! VIVID ACTS OF SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION
more SHOCKING!
more TERRIFYING!
more SCIENTIFIC!
THAN ANYTHING SEEN BEFORE

FILMED WITH RED IN EXCLUSIVE COMBUST-O-VISION

RATED C for CHARRED REMAINS!

Braniff

Received From: Rosemary Deering
Print or Image Color: Navy
Background / Bag Color: White
The Braniff Birdie is here to bring messages of joy and cheer to you, nauseous passenger. In fact, this bag harkens bag to a time when it was economical to have people write on the barf bag during flight -- something way too costly for the efficiency machines that airlines have become today.

Among other things, the bag says 'You may take it with you if you desire'. Your family will think your gift of chunks is an amazingly thoughtful gift -- Braniff hopes. Bottom of bag has the initials 'R.G.' which match my high school math teacher's initials (Robert Gregorski).

Braniff

Received From: Ben Guttery
Print or Image Color: Tan
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag features either a huge, tan airplane shaped window or a an oversized Candy Land game card.

Braniff

Received From: Pete Bonesteel
Print or Image Color: Purple, Pink
Background / Bag Color: White
I consider Braniff a pioneer in Air Sickness Bag Collecting. The bag says, "This litter bag is for your convenience. You may take it with you if desired." This is clearly meant to encourage collectors. Plus you can keep track of your Gin Rummy score on the back. Does anyone know how to play Gin anymore? Yay Braniff!

Braniff

Received From: Robert Masumura
Print or Image Color: Purple
Background / Bag Color: White
Identical to other purple Braniff bag except this one is much larger and the printing is far higher up.

Braniff

Received From: David Goldberg
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Red
I guess when you go through bankruptcy enough times, you have to keep changing the barf bags as if they're the culprit for your failing business.

Braniff

Approximate Vintage: 1985
Braniff name repeated 8 times on bag so you don't forget whose bag you're getting sick in. Once for every time they filed chapter 11.
