OK, Bag Monster is a moronic name, but Monster has become a catch-all phrase for "Hey, this will help you do something" This section will help you find the bags you're looking for (like you're really looking for them). Leaving everything blank will retrieve a list of all bags, however that may cause the page to load slowly.

Aviateca

Received From: Christoph Vogel
Print or Image Color: Orange
Background / Bag Color: White
Features either hot wheels track or cut off coyote head.

Aviogenex

Received From: Matthias Koch
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Red and White
Not really a lug-not, not really a mobius strip, who knows what the Aviogenex logo is supposed to be?

Aviogenex

Received From: Frank Valoczy
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Red and White
Nice Escher-like logo that looks like a hexagon inscribed in a circle. But it can't be a true hexagon because if it was, each vertex would intersect the circle!

Aviogenex

Approximate Vintage: 2001
Received From: Danny Meyer
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
This industrial looking bag seems like it's used in a genetics lab, rather than an airplane. In fact it sounds like it's a Generation-X bag. There is inexplicable printing on the back that screams "Error!".

Aviogenex

Received From: Oliver Conradi
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Red, White
At first glance the enormous logo looks the same as the logo on other Aviogenex bags until you notice that it's rotated 90 degrees. Not sure why but I'm guessing the printer had no idea but the corporate execs were livid ... just a guess.

Avioimpex

Approximate Vintage: 2000
Received From: Zarko Koneski
Print or Image Color: Blue and Gray-Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
The way it's written on the bag, you could easily mistake the AVIOIMPEX name with some new piece of computer hardware called AV-101-MPEX. And what's with this weird Golden Arches-like background?

Avis

Approximate Vintage: 1993
Received From: Christoph Vogel
Print or Image Color: Black and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
As I have never seen another rent-a-car barf bag, I must conclude that Avis really does try harder.

Avis Bahamas

Received From: Paul Diamond
Print or Image Color: Black and Red
Background / Bag Color: White and Red
The bag advertises "Call us for a sparkling new Plymouth". Sparkling new Plymouth? How last century! This is a pretty cool bag that I guess could only be obtained at the Nassau or Freeport Bahamas airport. The bag also advertises FREE UNLIMITED MILEAGE. This sounds like a really good deal until you realize that the 700 Bahama Islands all together are about the size of Connecticut.

AVL

Approximate Vintage: 2003
Received From: Sergey Bulanov
Print or Image Color: Blue, Red, Black
Background / Bag Color: White
A beautiful bag from the Russian Federation complete with Cyrillic font.

Avolar

Approximate Vintage: 2007
Received From: David Shomper
Print or Image Color: Orange
Background / Bag Color: White
The prefix A- preceding most anything means 'without'. So I can only conclude that Avolar means 'without flying'.

Awair

Received From: Matthias Koch
Print or Image Color: Green
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag sports many interesting nuances that shows a sensibility and ingenuity uncommon in barf bag design. First, you notice the bag asks you to 'Keep Things Clean' ... what things they don't say. On the back, the designers felt that an apple core is the universal symbol for solid litter. Not a bad choice actually.

Also note that the passing of the used bag for disposal is ambiguous. Should the passer grip the bottom of the bag or the top? It's hard to tell from the diagram. One also can't help but notice that Bukan Untuk Rokok is a GREAT Scrabble word -- if you happen to be playing with a factory seconds game that comes with 4 K's. Finally, remember: No Blood in bags, please.

Axis Airways

Approximate Vintage: 2006
Received From: Thorsten Hecht
Print or Image Color: Yellow, Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Axis Airways is located in France, which is a confusing name given the fact that the Axis invaded and captured France in World War II. It's a little like Tibetans starting a carrier called Mao Airlines.

AZAL

Approximate Vintage: 2006
Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Red, Blue, Gree
Background / Bag Color: White, Gray
Have you ever watched closed captioning get screwed up? Well that's what the text on this bag looks like: Closed Captioning gone bad. On the English side, they refer to the bathroom as a WC, a term which was losing favor even in 1958.

AZAL (Azerbaijan Airlines)

Approximate Vintage: 2018
Received From: Vladimir Tregub
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Blue
This bag says "Air Sickness Bag T Be Taken to WC".

For those who don't know, WC stands for 'water closet', which was a euphemism for bathroom in the 1950s, as if any native English speakers would understand that, much less Azerbaijanis.

Azam Marine

Received From: Janusz Tichoniuk
Print or Image Color: White / Gray
Background / Bag Color: Black Plastic
This black plastic bag has no closing mechanism and no bottom for it to stand upon, so you'd better hope that the ship isn't rolling very much when you get sick.

Azam Marine

Approximate Vintage: 2017
Received From: Janusz Tichoniuk
Print or Image Color: Red, White, Blue
Background / Bag Color: Red, White
Great colorful bag from a ferry company that primarily serves Tanzania. The bag warns: MFUKO WA KUTAPIKA / KUTEMEA, which Google Translate says means "Experience of Experience / Recording" in Swahili

Azerbaijan Airlines

Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Navy
Background / Bag Color: Light Blue
Nice minimalistic text with a skiing blob.

Azo Medical Systems (Azo-Bag)

Approximate Vintage: 1989
Received From: Burkhard Walther
Print or Image Color: Navy
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag is "Certified to British Standard", which probably means that British food makes you want to use it. Lots of pointless drivel on this bag: a big 'D' being the most prominent. Also Vernon Carus is so egotistical, his name appears on the bag. Plus a safety note not to use the bag if the seal [Note: There is no seal] is broken or damaged.

With postage and auction costs, this bag set me back $10, which is probably a good deal since in a hospital it's probably jacked up to something like $85.

Azul Linhas Aereas Brasilieiras

Received From: Denir Camargo
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
An excellent offering from Azul (which means Blue ... not to be confused with jetBlue). It's got a whole bunch of symbols on the bottom of the bag, much like a garment's laundering requirements or all the crappy logos they append to the end of movie credits.

Identical to previous bag except they added 2 more useless lines to the bottom of the bag.
