OK, Bag Monster is a moronic name, but Monster has become a catch-all phrase for "Hey, this will help you do something" This section will help you find the bags you're looking for (like you're really looking for them). Leaving everything blank will retrieve a list of all bags, however that may cause the page to load slowly.

Southwest Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 1999
Received From: Christian Annyas
Print or Image Color: Black, Red, Gold
Background / Bag Color: White
What an incredible bag! Southwest, known among collectors as the purveyor of ubiquitous blank white bags decided upon an Air Sickness Bag as a vehicle for luring potential employees. One side says, "Sick of your job?". The other side has the pitch: "If you'd prefer a career that's fun and challenging, join the crew reported in Fortune® magazine as one of America's Most Admired Companies."

Oh, the most generic of bags. All it has is a patent number on the bottom: 7,041,042

Southwest Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2014
Print or Image Color: Black

Same generic-looking bag as ever, except they added the instructions: "FOLD DOWN TWICE AND SECURE WITH TWIST TIE" to the bag.

The bottom of the bag says "U.S. Patent No. 7,041,042 and features LK Plastics.

Not content with the lucrative contract of providing all the barfbags to Southwest, LK Plastics decides it needs to add the logo to the base of the bag next to the US Patent No. 7,401,042

Southwest Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2016

Same generic-looking bag as ever, except they changed the bottom of the bag ever so slightly. It says "U.S. Patent No. 7,041,042 and features LK Plastics logo, but it no longer has the words "LK Plastics" like its predecessor. This bag is also used as a generic.

Same generic-looking bag as ever, except they changed the bottom of the bag ever so slightly. It says "U.S. Patent No. 7,041,042 and features LK Plastics logo, but now "LK Plastics" is a registered trademark! This bag is also used as a generic.

This is the trophy bag!

I've been looking for this for over 15 years and Tom Tomaro came through with the connection. The bag is awesome. It's made of some kind of Nylon-Tyvek-Plastic-Mylar polymer or something. The bag is actually sewn together (lovingly I would assume). I opted not to unfold it completely or else it might not have fit back in the bag (bet they've never really considered that someone would want to do that before). I did unfold it a little bit and found a surprise inside the bag, just like Crackerjack. It's a Wash-n-Dri (moist towlette) attached to the bag.

They use the offical term "Emesis Bag", which is my favorite term for the vessel. Plus there's the ubiquitous spaceman logo along with raspberry dessert drizzle. It's pretty amazing. Can you tell that this bag has made my life worth living? Thanks again, Tom.

Now with a newer, slightly bolder logo. The laminar flow logo now looks like ravioli.

Very similar to the 2000 model, but no instructions! What could this smart looking bag be for?

The logo changes again, as if split by lightning. Also, more instructions were added at the top.

A more modern Spanair that keeps the logo, but adds a website, phone number and the fact that they're now a member of the Star Alliance.

Spanair can't quite figure out its corporate identity. Not only is it a member of the Star Alliance, but now they're a member of the SAS group. I'm sure this is all very reassuring to their stockholders.

Spanair

The bag says, "en su agencia de viajes" which I think means "in your old-age home". Spanair is a crappy Star Alliance Member now.

Spantax

Nice torn piece of paper logo under what appears to be a cryptogram.

One of the languages on the back seems to announce that "I handle calls for AT&T".

I actually just guessed that the vintage on this bag is 1985 based upon font and design. The airline ceased operations in 1988, but this bag could be from many years earlier.

Spantax

This bag is a little enigmatic in that it says "Trabajos Aereos" or Aerial Work. I'm not sure if they mean that it's work to throw up or work to fly on the airline, but it does seem odd.

Spice Jet

Approximate Vintage: 2007

I have no idea what the 15 gray circles printed in perspective are for, but they look cool.
