Air Mali

Received From: Kim Decker
Print or Image Color: Green
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag is identical to the 2000 Air Mali bag except it's smaller and the printing is a much lighter green. Not sure if this qualifies as a separate bag, but I will do so.

Air Malta

Approximate Vintage: 1990
Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Red and Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Hey, you're throwing up into the Luftwaffe logo.

Air Malta

Approximate Vintage: 1998
Received From: Chris Dahl
Print or Image Color: Bold Red and Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Kind of looks like some British WWII logo.

Air Malta

Approximate Vintage: 1998
Received From: Christoph Vogel
Print or Image Color: Bold Red and Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Identical to other 1998 Air Malta bag, except no ELAG logo on the bottom.

Air Malta

Received From: Christoph Vogel
Print or Image Color: Bold Red and Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Identical to 1998 Air Malta bags, except this bag is taller, has a thumb tab, and has no bottom.

Air Malta

Received From: Daniel Wilson
Print or Image Color: Red and Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
I call this one the Pie Slice version because it looks as if someone has taken a slice out of a square pie logo (if that makes sense).

Air Malta

Approximate Vintage: 2012
Received From: Ed Sluimer
Print or Image Color: Red, Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Same as all the other recent Air Malta bags except they finally got around to putting their website on the bag.

Air Mandalay

Approximate Vintage: 1997
Received From: Mike Newman
Print or Image Color: Yellow and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Pretty rugged Myanmar bag featuring a really long 3 hair combover for a bald guy.

Air Mandalay

Approximate Vintage: 2012
Received From: Mike Newman
Print or Image Color: Maroon, Yellow
Background / Bag Color: White, Maroon
Air Mandalay decides to add their website to the bag. What's next, QR codes?

Air Mauritanie

Approximate Vintage: 1993
Received From: Reid Trummel
Print or Image Color: Green and White
Background / Bag Color: White and Green
Ahh, a very nice bag in that it only has French and Arabic. Plus you just have to love the upside-down paper airplane crashing into the Turkish Flag.

Air Mauritius

Approximate Vintage: 1996
Received From: Suzanne Stavinoha
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Reasonably non-descript bag with a tangram logo.

Air Mauritius

Approximate Vintage: 1998
Received From: Christopher Wren
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Some high level executive probably ordered the addition of the phrase "Non-Stop Caring" to the bag, then took off early to go golfing, having worked a long, hard day.

Air Mauritius

Received From: Herb Schingoethe
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
A very bold bag in which upper and lower case never meet. Somewhat similar to other Air Mauritius offerings, except in this one, the bird logo is just an outline, as though you can see right through it.

Air Mauritius

Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Very similar to the red 2001 Mauritius bag, showing that someone thought the design was perfect, just the colors were all wrong.

Air Mauritius

Approximate Vintage: 2001
Received From: Nicola Ottolini
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Very similar to the blue Mauritius bag, showing that someone thought the design was perfect, just the colors were all wrong.

Air Mauritius

Approximate Vintage: 2008
Received From: Denir Camargo
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Air Mauritius downsizes its logo and lowers it on the bag. Has a tiny star in the fold.

Air Mauritius

Approximate Vintage: 2001
Received From: Denir Camargo
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Identical to the other 2001 Air Mauritius bag, except the bottom is pointy, not flat. Plus, the big sun logo inside the gusset has moved from the top of the fold to the bottom.

Air Méditerranée (Hermes Air)

Approximate Vintage: 2015
Received From: Oliver Conradi
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Great bag from the now-defunct French carrier Air Méditerranée (also branded as the Greek carrier Hermes Air). Elegant and crisp but bankrupt.

Air Memphis

Received From: Oliver Conradi
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
According to Oliver, this bag is "Megarare" because the entire fleet of Air Memphis consists of a single plane (although according to Wikipedia, it now has 4). The airline is based in Cairo, Egypt, not Memphis, TN. The logo looks like a cross between a tailfin, a dunce cap, and a big A.

Air Midwest

Received From: Dean Eckert
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Fly us, we're yours. This is the only bag that doubles as a pillow! Just inflate your barf bag and you can sleep on it. Now that's ingenuity.

The bag says, FOR YOUR USE

  • OPEN and close along color line
  • CLOSE bag by holding one edge of bage and slide your fingers across bag seal
  • Air Sick Bag (Open and use then seal bag closed, bag may be opened again.)[yuk]
  • In Flight Pillow (Open bag at one end and blow air into it, then seal)
  • Cosmetic Bag
  • Dirty and Wet Things Bag (also clean) [How can it be clean and dirty at the same time?]
  • Traveling Diaper Bag
  • Catch-All Bag
